Data Solution Architect (Contract)
Summary
Design and build enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, implementing scalable data ingestion and Medallion Architecture for analytics and Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse).
- Architect and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for analytics and reporting.
- Design optimized data models, ensuring data quality, lineage, governance, performance, and scalability.
- Enable secure hybrid and multi-cloud data integration aligned with enterprise standards.
- Implement CI/CD, DevOps, and DataOps best practices using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Deliver high-performance datasets and data models for Power BI reporting and analytics.
Requirement:
- 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Architecture.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Data Warehouse).
- Proven experience in solution architecture, data platform design, and enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, workflow orchestration, and Medallion Architecture.
- Experience with hybrid data integration, real-time/streaming data pipelines, and multi-source data environments.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, data governance, security (RBAC), compliance, and audit frameworks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD automation, and release management.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, provide architecture guidance, and mentor development teams.
