Data Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Data Architecture to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in data modeling, database architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data infrastructure planning.

The candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise data architecture, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring that data platforms are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Architecture & Modeling

• Design and develop logical and physical data models, architecture blueprints, and database structures.

• Define enterprise data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

• Design scalable data solutions to support business and analytical requirements.

• Evaluate and recommend suitable database technologies and data architecture patterns.

2. Data Infrastructure & Integration

• Define architecture for data collection, storage, processing, and integration.

• Design and oversee data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.

• Provide architectural guidance on ETL/ELT processes and data integration solutions.

• Ensure seamless integration across multiple data sources and enterprise systems.

3. Security, Governance & Compliance

• Define data security and access control strategies.

• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and regulatory requirements.

• Establish data governance, data quality, and data management standards.

• Ensure data architecture follows enterprise security and compliance guidelines.

4. Performance & Optimization

• Monitor and optimize database and data platform performance.

• Design solutions capable of handling large data volumes and complex workloads.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend appropriate architectural improvements.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of data systems.

5. Stakeholder & Strategic Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical architecture.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, Infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders.

• Drive architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

• Communicate complex architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture and Data Architecture.

• Expertise in SQL and database management systems (DBMS).

• Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling.

• Experience in data warehousing concepts and architecture.

• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.

• Exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or equivalent technologies.

• Experience designing data pipelines and enterprise data infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of data security, governance, compliance, and performance optimization.

Required Experience & Competencies

• 12-16 years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in Solution/Data Architecture.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level data solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and architectural leadership skills.
