What You Will Do

• Lead and Mentor: Guide, develop, and inspire a growing team of Data Support Specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

• Own Incident Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all data-related incidents, critical requests, and high-level escalations.

• Guard Data Integrity: Ensure exceptional data quality and absolute integrity across complex gaming, player, and financial datasets.

• Deep-Dive into Code: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for deep-dive data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Monitor & Resolve: Proactively monitor data pipelines and swiftly resolve data discrepancies, system anomalies, or processing failures.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, Product, and Operations teams to bridge technical gaps.

• Drive Process Excellence: Implement, refine, and enforce data support processes, operational SLAs, and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Champion Automation: Analyze recurring data issues to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

• Support Global Operations: Participate in an on-call rotation as required to support a 24/7 global environment.

What You Bring

• Proven Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience in data support, data operations, or data analytics.

• Leadership Track Record: 1+ years of experience effectively leading, mentoring, or managing a technical team.

• Expert-Level SQL: Advanced, mandatory proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, multi-table joins, window functions, and query optimization.

• Database Savvy: Solid experience working with large-scale datasets and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).

• Pipeline Knowledge: A strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and modern data warehousing concepts.

• Industry Edge: Prior experience within the iGaming, casino, or gaming industry is highly preferred.

• Soft Skills & Execution: * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A strong sense of ownership and laser-focused attention to detail.

  • The ability to prioritize critical tasks and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
