Summary of the Role:
As a Data Management & Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for automating inspection data collection and reporting to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency within manufacturing operations. You will analyze data to identify yield-impacting trends, develop real-time dashboards, and drive data-informed decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, automation, and vendors. The role also leads digital transformation initiatives, manages inspection algorithm updates and validations, and promotes a data-driven culture.
Job Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:
- Automate inspection data collection and reporting to enhance visibility and accuracy.
- Analyze data to identify yield-impacting patterns and develop dashboards for real-time decision-making.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and automation teams to integrate data from various systems.
- Lead digital initiatives to simplify processes and improve factory efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and promote a data-driven culture within engineering teams.
- Maintain and troubleshoot tools, collaborating with vendors for system upgrades and repairs.
- Use data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) to analyze trends and create visualizations.
- Focal person for inspection algorithm updates and validation to ensure consistent and accurate defect classification
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study.
- Industry exposure in the Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.
- Atleast 2 years of work experience related to statistical data analysis tools, AI-based inspection, Machine Learning, Python, SQL, Database Management or IoT platforms.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Proficient in software analysis and statistical tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of image processing, AI-based inspection, or IoT platforms is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Willingness to learn new tools and systems.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written English communication skills required to conduct daily activities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, participative team player with the ability to perform in a results-oriented and time-sensitive environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, with flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
