Salary per Annum: £32,194 – £39,946 (Depending on Experience)

Job Location: Swindon (SN2), Wiltshire

We are looking for a top‑skilled Data Test Engineer with strong system testing and manual testing skills to join our project and work on an ecommerce‑related POC project.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Test web‑based ecommerce applications.
• Test payment gateway data flows (e.g., WorldPay, PayPal, Stripe).
• Test API data.
• Perform source‑to‑target comparisons.
• Conduct integration testing with other systems.
• Query databases using SQL effectively.
• Test Microsoft applications via SharePoint.
• Execute manual application tests.
• Prepare and execute test cases.
• Raise defects using JIRA or Microsoft TFS.
• Scope to learn automation testing.

Skills Required

• Experience as a data test engineer, software systems tester, or integration test engineer.
• Experience as a software system test engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or Data Test Analyst.
• Proficiency with bug‑tracking tools such as Jira, HP QC/Quality Center, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Microsoft SSIS.
• Ability to write and query SQL statements.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Ability to write test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to execute test cases and report defects found during testing.
• Proficiency in detecting software defects or workflow problems early in development.
• Experience with API testing tools.

Educational Qualification
