Data Warehouse Engineer Graduate (Data Platform, TikTok Search) - 2027 Start

Team Introduction The mission of the Data Platform Singapore Business Partnering (DPSG BP) team is to empower TikTok’s business growth through data. Our goal is to build data warehouses that support both batch and streaming data processing, as well as data products that deliver actionable insights through efficient metrics and dashboards to enable smarter business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehouse architecture, data models, and ETL pipelines.
• Optimize ETL processes and troubleshoot technical issues related to large-scale data processing.
• Participate in data governance across complex data dependencies and diverse data ecosystems.
• Deliver data solutions for business scenarios by leveraging ByteDance’s robust middle-platform architecture and product systems.

Qualifications Minimum Qualification(s)

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse implementation methodologies, with hands-on experience in data warehouse systems and supporting business use cases.
• Strong coding skills, with proficiency in tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Java, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and Flink.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Highly data-sensitive, detail-oriented, and skilled at identifying anomalies in data.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect technical expertise with business needs.
