Role: Data Warehouse Lead Developer

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.

· Optimize SQL queries and database performance (indexing, execution plans, tuning).

· Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting requirements.

· Work closely with applications, BI, and data teams to understand data needs.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

· Troubleshooting and resolving job failures or alert triggers

· Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.

· Work independently and collaborate with business, BI, and reporting teams.

Required Skills:

· Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.

· Strong knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers

· Hands‑on experience with SQL Server Jobs for scheduling and automation

· Ability to configure and manage Alerts & Notifications for proactive monitoring

· Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions.

· Design star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables.

· Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.

· Support data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.

· Expertise in writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.

· Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

· Good understanding of relational database design and normalization.

· Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

· Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing basics.

· Experience with cloud data platforms


Good to Have:

· Experience with Power BI and semantic models.

· Experience in performance optimization and large data volumes.

· Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.

· Experience working in client-facing or onsite–offshore models.

Soft Skills:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
