Database Administrator
If selected, you will serve as a Database Administrator, working within Policy and Program Development. You will provide analytical services to develop and improve APHIS programs.
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
Working with agency leadership, you will advise senior staff on progress with strategic and operational goals
Develop and implement PPD-wide policies, procedures, and strategic plans governing the planning and delivery of APHIS' and PPD's web-based products
Design and implement databases throughout the agency
Serve as a liaison for facilities management and other space concerns
Create and maintain custom Internet or Sharepoint-based interfaces and applications, query tools, and utilities of PPD and APHIS supported applications
Overseeing written information and the design of web pages to ensure they are in line with USDA, APHIS, PPD standards, policies, and procedures
