Database Administrator (CDC, Private cloud)
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per month
Our client is looking for high calibre responsible for performance tuning of enterprise database systems.
Responsibilities:
Administration, maintenance, and performance tuning of enterprise database systems.
Lead and execute database migration projects using Change Data Capture (CDC) tools.
Conduct feasibility studies and product evaluations on new database technologies and cloud platforms.
Project and vendor management.
Liaise with users for project implementation.
Provide after office hours support if required
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in:
- database administration across platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL)
- project and vendor management.
- database migration and Change Data Capture (CDC) tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in Private Cloud database services.
Experience in Kubernetes operation and containerized database monitoring tools.
Practical understanding and experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
