Responsibilities
- Builddatabase systems of high availability and quality depending on each enduser’s specialised role
- Designand implement database in accordance to end users information needs andviews
- Defineusers and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriateformat and in a timely manner
- Usehigh-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimisedatabase downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Provideproactive and reactive data management support and training to users
- Determine,enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Performtests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy andintegrity
- Monitordatabase performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versionswhen required
Requirements
- Provenworking experience as a Database Administrator
- Hands-onexperience with database standards and end user applications
- Excellentknowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Previousexperience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
- Familiaritywith programming languages API
- Problemsolving skills and ability to think algorithmically
- BSdegree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
