Database Administrator (Oracle Database Administrator (DBA))

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain database systems, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, ensuring stable and reliable operations.
• Perform database backup, restoration, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity, availability, and business continuity.
• Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, index optimization, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
• Manage database user accounts, access permissions, and security controls to protect sensitive data and maintain system security.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve database and server-related issues, including deadlocks, slow queries, and system performance problems.
• Collaborate with Application and Network teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth database operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Fintech (BFSI) industries.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability (HA/RAC), Backup & Recovery, and Oracle Performance Tuning.
• Solid Linux/Unix administration skills, including system configuration, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience supporting mission-critical production systems, ensuring high availability and operational reliability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex database issues.
• Good command of English to communicate effectively with regional teams and digest technical documentation.
