Database Administrator (Oracle & MSSQL)
Salary: ₱60,000 – ₱77,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle and MSSQL database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and Oracle GoldenGate, ensuring database reliability, security, and high availability.
Key responsibilities
Install, administer, and maintain Oracle and MSSQL databases and related infrastructure.
Ensure database availability, performance, security, and compliance with service level requirements.
Provide technical support for data center operations, application management, and risk management initiatives.
Implement database best practices to improve efficiency and optimize costs.
Coordinate with database vendors regarding updates, patches, fixes, and support requirements.
Perform regular database housekeeping, backups, maintenance activities, and documentation updates.
Monitor database capacity, resource utilization, and forecast future growth requirements.
Conduct performance analysis and recommend optimization strategies.
Manage database configurations, change requests, and security patch deployment.
Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in MSSQL Database Administration
Strong experience in Database Performance Tuning and Oracle GoldenGate
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for database-related issues
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
