Database Coordinator

Summary

Coordinates and maintains engineering project data in a semiconductor manufacturing database, generating reports and supporting digital systems for project planning.

Role Purpose

As a Data Coordinator, you will work with engineering teams to manage project information, maintain databases, generate reports, and ensure accurate data is available to support project planning and decision-making.

Top 5 Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project information within the Engineering Management Platform (EMP) database.
  • Collect, verify, and organize tool installation and project data from clients and engineering teams.
  • Track project milestones, tool deliveries, and installation schedules to support project planning.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support engineering and management teams.
  • Identify missing or incorrect information and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Support engineers in utilizing the Engineering Management Platform (EMP).
  • Assist in troubleshooting system-related issues and escalating where required.
  • Maintain project metadata and support database housekeeping activities.
  • Participate in data improvement and digitalization initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to improve system functionality and user experience

Job Requirements:

Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in:

  • Other related technical disciplines

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Internship, school projects, or coursework involving data management, reporting, engineering systems, or Excel-based analysis will be an advantage.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working with databases and digital platforms.
  • Ability to organize and manage large volumes of information.
  • Basic knowledge of dashboards, reporting tools, or Power BI is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of engineering projects and construction processes is a plus.
