Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand Business requirements and convert business logic into reusable components.
- Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts and relevant design patterns to develop scalable components and applications.
- Design and implement modular stored procedures that encapsulate cohesive business operations, support evolving requirements, and integrate seamlessly with a robust database execution framework
Candidate Expectations:
- Should have designed, implemented, and optimised database-resident logic using SQL and the native procedural programming capabilities of RDBMS platforms, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, transaction control, and exception handling
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) is an added advantage
- Strong proficiency in at least one of the following procedural database languages: Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, or PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL
- Should have architected, designed, implemented, and tested at least two projects
- Possess a strong learning mindset, extensive reading habits and a proactive approach towards acquiring knowledge.
- Maintain a disciplined and consistent approach to daily work activities, demonstrating ownership and accountability through timely delivery of work.
