Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience with MySQL database management and operations.
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.
- Capability in monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Understanding of indexing, partitioning, and replication strategies.
- Exposure to cloud-based databases, including AWS Aurora (though not mandatory).
- Experience in database automation and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with database security practices and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in database administration or database reliability roles is preferred.
