Database Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Respond to situations where Tessell service L1/L2 support has been unable to solve customers' technical issues.
• Learn the complete Tessell stack and be able to debug issues coming out of any area.
• Must become Subject Matter Expert on Tessell service stack and offerings.
• Collaborate with or escalate cases with Tessell engineering team when the problem is too complex in order to most quickly facilitate solutions for customers.
• Work collaboratively with customers in potentially stressful situations, while providing professional and courteous technical expertise.
• Create new knowledge base articles to share information and best practices for reuse throughout the Technical Support Centre.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in managing production databases (Postgres/MySQL/Oracle, MSSQL )in Cloud environments or on-premises for medium- to large size Enterprises.
• Experience in working with Cloud environments.
• Good understanding of AWS Kubernetes and ELK Services.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in coding skills using Bash or Python.
• Understanding of Linux OS concepts.
• Bachelor's degree/ Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
