Summary
Design and implement scalable Databricks Lakehouse data platforms and lead ETL migration from Informatica to Databricks, working with Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake on cloud infrastructure.
Tech Talent International (TTI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to startups, small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring a Databricks Architect (with Informatica) for our consulting client.
Role: Databricks Architect (with Informatica)
Type: Contract - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Rate Range: $65-75/hr C2C (40 hrs /week)
Duration: 6-12 months

Role Descriptions:
- Design and implement scalable data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse| Delta Lake| Spark| and PySpark.Architect batch and real-time data pipelines on Azure/AWS/GCP.
- Lead ETL modernization and migration from Informatica PowerCenter/IICS/IDMC to Databricks.
- Define data governance| security| performance optimization| and best practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Required Skills:
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong expertise in Databricks| Spark| PySpark| SQL| Delta Lake| Unity Catalog.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS/IDMC.
- Experience in data warehousing| data modeling| and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of CI/CD| Git| and Agile methodologies.
- Preferred Skills:
- Databricks and Cloud certifications
- Experience with Snowflake| Azure Synapse| Kafka| or Data Governance tools.
