Databricks Data Architect & Engineer: Cloud Innovator

NTT Data is seeking a Databricks Expert to bridge Data Science and Data Engineering in a cloud-native context. You will collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to shape use cases and data requirements and deliver end-to-end data processing for analytics and ML.

The role requires strong experience in Databricks, Spark, Java/Scala/Python, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS). Milano and other Italian cities are listed for location, offering a dynamic, international environment.

Support customers in Big Data projects and understand use cases with stakeholders. Deliver data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, and loading into data lakes for analytics/ML. Build proofs-of-concept addressing business needs using suitable data sources and tools. Experience with Databricks in cloud environments. Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting. Strong knowledge of Big Data architectures and cloud/on-premise setups. Familiarity with monitoring distributed systems (Grafana/Prometheus). Experience migrating workloads to the cloud (on premise to cloud). Hands-on with SQL and data transformations for analytics and ML.
