Databricks Developer

We are currently looking for a Databricks Developer to join a project for one of our international clients.

About the Role:

• Availability: Must be able to overlap with US Central Time (min. 4 hours/day).

• Language: Fluent English (at least B2+ level) is required.

What exactly will you be doing?

• Working in small project teams to deliver data products on the Databricks platform.

• Working in accordance with modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile or Scrum).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with CI/CD environments in Databricks, specifically:

  -Databricks Asset Bundles

  -Workspace integration with Git

• Experience with DLT (Delta Live Tables) or Lakeflow Pipelines.

• Very good knowledge of PySpark and Spark SQL.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve query and pipeline performance issues.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one of the following data modeling or architectural approaches:

  -Medallion Architecture

  -Data Mesh

  -Operational Data Store (ODS)

  -Star Schema

  -Snowflake Schema

Nice to have:

• Participation in data projects involving integration testing.

• Experience with Power BI.
