Designs and builds a new Databricks-based data platform for a construction client, collaborating with the CTO/architect on platform development and implementation.

My client is currently looking for a Databricks Engineer to join a major greenfield data platform transformation for their construction client.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity, working alongside their CTO/architect who will be leading the overall product and design (however, as you will be working so close you will get a say too!)
The Role
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering a new Databricks-based data platform, working across data engineering, platform development and implementation.
Key Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Databricks certification is highly desirable/required
- Strong data engineering/data platform background
- Experience delivering greenfield data platform solutions
- Previous experience working within construction or property development (or similar is essential)
- Strong Azure/cloud data platform experience
