Datacenter Technician I
You'll join the Facility Operations team to help keep critical infrastructure running safely and continuously around the clock. You will work alongside Facility Managers to maintain a portion of the company's large fleet of assets, facilities, and hosting partners, ensuring everything stays safe and functional. Your day-to-day will involve routine and preventive maintenance, monitoring hardware, responding to equipment faults, helping onboard new customers by installing servers, and occasionally traveling to mining facilities for site inspections.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware
- Monitor hardware
- Complete day to day tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Respond to and remediate equipment faults identified by customers or internal monitoring systems
- Assist in the customer onboarding process by installing servers
- Travel to mining facilities for site inspections
- Maintain logs for service and maintenance on deployed assets
Requirements
- A technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience
- 1+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment
- Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, security, and fire protection are preferred
- Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance is desired but can be acquired
