Day Center Manager
Reports to: Program Administrator or Designated Program Director
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $21.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Manager to help oversee the daily operations of an assigned residential or community-based program.
This hands-on leadership position coordinates client care, appointments, transportation, documentation, program needs, and staff training. The Manager also provides direct support and helps ensure services are safe, organized, and person-centered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide respectful, person-centered support and personal care.
- Coordinate medical appointments, transportation, activities, and other client needs.
- Monitor and document required client health information.
- Communicate health, behavioral, safety, staffing, and service concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Participate in client reviews, planning meetings, treatment team meetings, and program meetings.
- Complete accurate attendance, health, service, and tracking documentation in iCare and other required systems.
- Manage approved client spending activities, petty cash reports, audits, fire drills, and other required records.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and well-supplied home or program environment.
- Train and support employees on client-specific care, routines, documentation, and program procedures.
- Work closely with employees, program leadership, healthcare providers, and other members of the individual’s support team.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and respectful communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or related experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required medication certification, CPR/First Aid, behavioral training, and other MME-required credentials.
- Basic computer, email, and electronic documentation skills.
- Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm during emergencies.
- Reliable, responsible, compassionate, and committed to person-centered support.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of leadership, supervisory, or staff-training experience.
- College coursework in human services or a related field.
- CNA, PCA, or comparable direct-care experience
