Day Habilitation Direct Support Staff

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Day Habilitation team. As a Day Hab Staff member, you will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence, building life skills, and participating in meaningful community and recreational activities. Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in a safe, respectful, and person-centered manner.
• Assist participants with daily living skills, personal care, and community integration as needed.
• Facilitate educational, recreational, vocational, and social activities.
• Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth.
• Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress notes.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants.
• Transport participants to community activities when required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background screening.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Aide certification is a plus .
