Day Habilitation Staff Trainer - Must Travel to Melville and Garden City
Summary
Train and supervise staff at habilitation centers in Melville and Garden City, ensuring treatment plans are followed and individuals' health and safety are maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure health, safety & welfare of individuals.
- Implement and train others on treatment plans and goals.
- Model appropriate techniques related to the implementation of treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain all required certifications.
- Supervise Group Leaders and Habilitation Specialists in the implementation of treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
- Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
- Attendance and punctuality is essential.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
This position requires you to travel to different site locations. The Staff Trainer would travel to our Melville and Garden City Habilitation Centers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to run
- Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
- Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
- Qualifications are subject to change in accordance with government regulations.
