Day Transport Driver - Spartanburg

Position Overview:

• Operate Class A vehicles safely on the highway and around customer locations.
• Make customer deliveries efficiently.
• Operate a computer in the truck.
• Follow daily delivery schedule.
• Be at work daily and on time.
• Weekend work will be required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:

• Clean, valid Class A CDL drivers license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
• High school education or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Motivated.
• Committed.
• Ability to lift, bend stoop, kneel.

• Driving: 2 years (Required)

• CDL Class A License (Required)

• Day and Night Shift Positions

Key physical requirements for truck drivers:

• Vision: Clear vision with adequate peripheral vision, usually tested to be at least 20/40 in each eye with or without corrective lenses.
• Hearing: Ability to hear a forced whisper from a distance of five feet or less.
• Blood pressure: Normal blood pressure levels
• Color vision: Ability to distinguish colors properly (not colorblind)
• Physical endurance: Capability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks like loading and unloading cargo
• Medical history: No disqualifying medical conditions like heart disease, respiratory issues, or severe back problems
