Day-Time Lifeguard, Avalible 8 AM - 5 PM

Compensation: Hourly, Part-Time, less than 20 hours per week.

• We’ll pay you an hourly rate of $17.00 to $18.00.

About the Job

We need you to fill the role of a Lifeguard. This is a Part Time, Non- Exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safety of pool patrons by preventing accidents and responding quickly to emergency situations.
• Must follow and enforce pool policies and rules at all times.
• Prevent injuries and minimize hazardous situations.
• Always provides safety surveillance, including while walking around the facility.
• Attend mandatory training and in-service meetings required by Shalom Austin.
• Maintains life safety and rescue skills at rescue ready levels over the duration of employment.
• Completes routine maintenance and assigned cleaning duties.
• Maintains inventories and care for Shalom Austin property and equipment. Keeps supervisor informed of necessary materials and supplies for daily operations and to conduct programs.
• Monitors and records safety checks in compliance with Shalom Austin, State, and local guidelines.
