DBA at BairesDev

As a DBA, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our production database environments. You will ensure data integrity and availability across various database technologies, providing a stable foundation for our applications to thrive.

What You'll Do:

- Install, configure, and maintain production database instances to ensure optimal uptime.
- Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning to handle high-concurrency workloads.
- Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data.
- Manage database replication and high availability architectures to minimize potential downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define database schemas and best practices for data storage.
- Monitor system health proactively to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact users.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Database Administration or Systems Engineering.
- Proven expertise in operating and tuning production database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL or PLSQL for database development and administration.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, backup strategies, and replication.
- Deep understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
