Description: DCS & Automation System
1. DCS & Sub-Control System Operation & Maintenance
- Ensure the smooth operation of the DCS, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other automation systems in the cement plant. Preferred experience of DCS of Schneider, ABB & Siemens and SCADA (Viseo Citech).
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of control system components (controllers, field instruments, I/O modules, communication networks).
- Analyze system logs, alarms, and process trends to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure proper backup and restoration of system configurations, logic, and databases.
2. Troubleshooting & Process Optimization
- Identify faults in DCS, PLCs, and SCADA systems and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize control loops and logic for improved process efficiency, stability, and energy savings.
- Ensure seamless communication between DCS, sub-control systems, and field instruments.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
3. Automation & System Upgradation
- Support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new control systems and software upgrades.
- Work with vendors and OEMs for troubleshooting, system enhancements, and software updates.
- Implement cyber security measures for the protection of control systems.
- Develop Program ,Logics & SCADA, PID Loops as per plant process requirements.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards related to control systems.
- Maintain updated documentation for DCS configurations, PLC logic, wiring diagrams, and system manuals.
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to control system best practices.
- Configuration of various servers of different types of DCS/PLC on a common platform.
5. Team Collaboration & Training
- Provide technical support to plant personnel for DCS and automation-related issues.
- Train operators and maintenance teams on DCS functionalities and troubleshooting techniques.
- Work closely with IT, electrical, and mechanical teams for seamless plant operations.
