Job Description – DCS Hardware Design Engineer (ABB 800xA)

Client: ABB – INOPC
Location: Bengaluru (to be confirmed)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Industrial / Process Automation
Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based
Budget: To be confirmed

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop DCS hardware engineering drawings.
  
• Prepare Controller/RIO cabinet GA/IGA drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  
• Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD and Ebase.
  
• Prepare cable schedules, terminal diagrams and BOM.
  
• Work on drives panel drawings and as-built documentation.
  
• Support ABB 800xA hardware engineering activities.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering drawings as per project requirements.
  

Mandatory Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on DCS Hardware Engineering experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Ebase.
  
• Knowledge of ABB 800xA DCS hardware systems.
  
• Experience in Controller/RIO cabinet design and electrical drawings.
  
• Experience in cable schedules, wiring diagrams and BOM preparation.
  

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.

Preferred: Candidates with industrial automation experience and immediate or short notice availability.
