The DE&A - Core - Cloud Data Engineering role is a critical position within Zensar Technologies, responsible for driving cloud-based data engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a team of data engineers, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of projects.   • Lead and manage a team of data engineers, ensuring project goals are met.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements, providing accurate estimates and project plans.
  • Design and develop cloud-based data engineering solutions, utilizing Azure and other cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions with other systems.
  • Monitor and optimize data processing performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Ensure data engineering projects adhere to industry best practices and standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure and cloud technologies, attending relevant training and conferences.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with other cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or similar.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project estimation techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
