We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, SQL optimization, cloud technologies, and data integration.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Develop ELT/ETL workflows using tools such as Informatica, Matillion, Talend, ADF, Airflow, or dbt.
- Implement data modeling techniques including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
- Integrate data from various sources including relational databases, APIs, cloud storage, and third-party applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake performance issues.
- Implement data security, governance, and access controls using Snowflake RBAC.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices for data engineering projects.
- Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL/ELT development.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Matillion.

- Performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
- Data Lake integration.
- BI tools knowledge (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
- 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience.
- Snowflake Certification is a plus:
- SnowPro Core Certification
- SnowPro Advanced Certifications
Experience Level
- 6+ years of IT experience
- 4+ years of Snowflake and Data Engineering experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with migration from on-premise data warehouses to Snowflake.
- Exposure to Data Mesh/Data Fabric architecture.
