Why we need this role

The Analyst in the Off-Net Quotation Team (ONQT) is responsible for providing accurate, competitive, and timely off-net quotations by procuring commercial offers from approved third-party carriers (OLOs). The role supports Colt's sales objectives by ensuring optimal access solutions, cost competitiveness, compliance with supplier governance, and delivery of agreed service levels. The analyst works closely with Sales, Carrier Relations, Suppliers, Sales Engineers, Service Delivery, and other operational teams to support customer opportunities and revenue growth.

What you will do

  • Manage off-net quotation requests received through approved Colt systems and tools.
  • Analyse customer requirements and identify the most suitable off-net access solution.
  • Engage approved OLO suppliers to obtain pricing, feasibility, and delivery information.
  • Compare multiple supplier responses and recommend the most commercially viable solution.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations within agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Monitor quote progress and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely responses.
  • Work closely with Sales, Sales Engineers, Carrier Relations Managers, Service Delivery, and other stakeholders to resolve quotation challenges.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of quote activity, supplier interactions, and commercial information.
  • Ensure adherence to Colt procurement policies, supplier governance requirements, and commercial guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and process transformation initiatives within ONQT.

What we're looking for

Must Have

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to compare commercial options objectively.
  • Good understanding of telecommunications products and connectivity services.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and manage multiple quotation requests while meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • B-Tech (Telecom) or any graduate degree with relevant experience in quoting, procurement, telecom operations, sales support, commercial operations or a related function.

Might haves

  • Understanding of off net /OLO supplier ecosystems.
  • Experience with telecom data products, off-net access, carrier or supplier engagement, feasibility checks
  • or commercial procurement.
  • Experience using quoting or workflow tools such as Explore, CPQ, supplier portals, price books or
  • equivalent platforms.
  • Any foreign language can be an added advantage
