Debit Card Operations Specialist II - LA, MS or TX

SUMMARY
The Debit Card Operations Specialist II is responsible for supporting and advising fellow coworkers on best practices for the Debit Card area of Alternative Delivery Services. Actively participates in daily duties. Performs needed support and backup for daily responsibilities to keep business running smoothly.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Processes all Reg E disputes, research, general ledger entries, Reg E Log data entries, and audit requests
Identifies any emerging fraud trends and reports to management for mitigating efforts
Well-versed in debit card policies, procedures, and systems as well as documentation required by government regulations.
Processes debit card orders and maintenance requests for banking centers
Processes instant issue orders and rush delivery orders
Processes debit card updates for consumer and commercial clients by verifying the accuracy of the documents submitted and entering the updates on electronic banking system.
Monitors rejected card orders through system generated reports
Processes debit card support tickets and performs transaction research
Handles compromised card reports, correspondence related to various compromises, and reissuance of compromised debit cards
Knowledge of federal consumer protection laws and regulations such as: o Reg Eo Reg CC
Performs other duties as delegated by Manager
Monitors fraud events reported
Participates in debit card responsibilities during Merger/Acquisition projects

Reconciles ATM Totals and ATM Clearing (reports)
Processes ATM maintenance requests and assists with third-party support

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or Business degree preferred or equivalent experience
Two to five years of job-related experience
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication, and analytical skills
Strong software application (Microsoft Excel and Word) skills
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
Prior debit card experience required
