Deli Assistants - Part & Full-Time
We are currently seeking dedicated Deli Assistants to join our team at SPAR Newport. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of deli products
Assist customers with their deli orders and provide recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized deli counter and work area
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring products are fresh and well-stocked
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals
Knowledge of Irish food safety regulations and compliance
Experience in food handling and preparation
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work well in a team
