We seek proactive, career-minded professionals, passionate about growing a career with Compass Travel Center! Our facility offers many amenities including restaurants, truck fueling lanes, automobile and RV fueling lanes, showers, drivers lounge, grab-and-go food, truck supplies, clean restrooms, truck parking, and more!
The Travel Center Deli Specialist is expected to:
- Prepare, serve, and display all hot and cold deli foods
- Prep cut fruits and salads
- Monitor expiration dates
- Work with and assist other deli staff when needed
- Stock coolers and freezers
- Suggestively sell customers our Deli products and other food items
- Follow safe food product handling procedures
- Properly prepare deli items following recipes and procedures
- Monitor hold times and temperatures on hot and cold deli items
- Properly record waste when product hold time expires
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation area as well as the C-Store deli area
- Maintain organization of the deli area
- Maintain a professional image for Compass Travel Center
