Deli Manager

We are hiring for a Full-Time Deli Manager with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 at our location in Hinton Valley, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts

Schedule Deli and Hospitality Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met

Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed

Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team

Train, develop, and motivate Deli and Hospitality Team Members

Resolve customer and Deli Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience

Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

Assist the Catering Team with in-store catering events and preparation

Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth

Providing an exceptional customer experience

What you Bring:

2 years minimum of progressive restaurant or food-retail management experience

A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a deli or restaurant environment

Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs

Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills

A passion for leading and developing others

Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills

Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

Knowledge of the principles of food preparation and food safety regulations

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
