Overview

The Delivery Coordinator will serve as the primary integrator between the construction and commissioning teams across multiple projects, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination of all interfaces. These projects include, but are not limited to, tie-ins, power projects, oil and gas projects and facilities. The role involves close collaboration with the client's project and operations team to ensure project alignment, successful completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

  1. Construction & mechanical completion
Act as the liaison between the construction and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition from mechanical completion to commissioning.
Oversee and track the mechanical completion status and ensure all relevant documentation is provided to the commissioning team.
Facilitate the timely handover of systems from construction to commissioning, ensuring all pre-commissioning activities are completed as per the agreed schedule.
Coordinate construction punch lists and ensure resolution before the systems are handed over for commissioning.
Support in resolving construction-related issues that impact commissioning, ensuring these are addressed proactively.
  2. Interface management
Manage interfaces across various projects, including tie-ins, power projects, and oil and gas operations, ensuring integration and alignment between different teams and systems.
Facilitate communication and coordination between the construction, commissioning, and interface teams to ensure all critical paths are tracked and managed effectively.
Ensure that all interface-related activities (tie-ins, utilities, etc.) are communicated and planned in coordination with the client's project and operations team.
Maintain a comprehensive interface register to track and manage all critical points of interaction between construction and commissioning teams.
  3. Commissioning support
Work closely with the commissioning team to support requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in line with schedule.
Monitor the readiness of sub-systems, systems and equipment for commissioning, ensuring any potential bottlenecks are communicated and addressed promptly.
Ensure that commissioning requirements remain a focus during construction phases in line with schedule requirements to avoid delays or rework during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
Support and facilitate start-up readiness and assurance including pre-start-up audits and checks (i.e. TIV, PSSR, SUOP, PSUA, SOF, VCR) where applicable.
Support and facilitate communication and coordination with commissioning and operational readiness to ensure a smooth transition through commissioning, ready for start-up (RFSU), start-up and handover; ensuring a collaborated approach with client's project and operations teams.
  4. Reporting & communication
Provide regular reports on the progress of mechanical completion, interface coordination, and commissioning readiness to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure all stakeholders are updated on any changes in schedules, priorities, or issues impacting construction and commissioning timelines.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with company’s project and operations teams to promote a collaborated environment for progress and inclusive problem-solving.
  5. Construction risk management
Update the construction risk register on a weekly basis or whenever required.
Identify potential risks and bottlenecks at the construction-commissioning interface and work with relevant teams to mitigate these risks.
Ensure that interface-related issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner to avoid delays in project completion.
