Delivery Driver - Class A

Job Summary:

As a Class A Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to customer locations in a safe and timely manner. Your primary duties include loading and unloading freight, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and ensuring deliveries are made according to schedule. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, and communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused attitude to uphold our commitment to service excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Safely transport, deliver, and relocate products and materials as directed by supervisor.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring adherence to proper load security protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs as required by DOT regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Immediately report any accidents, citations, or incidents to supervisor.
• Submit required reports and dispatch paperwork in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, participate in mandatory safety meetings, and use necessary personal protective equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
