Delivery Driver

• Pick up and deliver cases to customer sites along the designated route, following daily work orders
• Load, unload, and handle cases carefully so products arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Complete accurate delivery documentation daily
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers at each stop
• Operate the company vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws and DPS safety policies
• Keep work areas at customer sites clean and orderly to ensure safety for yourself and customers
• Follow proper accident and incident reporting procedures
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and presentable, and promptly report maintenance issues
• Communicate with the Customer Care team about route changes, delays, or delivery issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Sit for extended periods while driving
• Frequently enter and exit the vehicle, and walk and use stairs at customer sites
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Work Environment

• Driving in varying traffic and weather conditions, including Iowa winters
• Regular time outdoors and at customer sites throughout the route

Required

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record that meets DPS insurance requirements
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Cedar Rapids area
• Previous delivery, courier, or professional driving experience
