Delivery Head For Data Engineering and Cloud Data Lake

Job Title: Delivery Head / Delivery Director Data Engineering & Cloud Data Lakes
Location: Bangalore | Experience: 12–18+ Years

• Lead enterprise-scale Cloud Data Lake and Lakehouse transformation programs with end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Strong career progression from Data Engineer / ETL Developer / Data Architect to Engineering Manager or Delivery Leader.
• Expertise in GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Composer) and/or AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis).
• Oversee batch and real-time ingestion using Apache Kafka, Pub/Sub, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), PySpark, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems including SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Workday, databases, and flat files.
• Drive reusable data platform capabilities, centralized logging, observability, telemetry, and automated error handling.
• Knowledge of Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git branching strategies.
• Experience managing terabytes to petabytes of data, billions of records, performance optimization, partitioning, and cloud costs.
• Support presales, solution reviews, technical sizing, effort estimation, and delivery scope validation.
• Translate business requirements across HR, Finance, Operations, and Security into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Data Engineers while managing executive stakeholder relationships.
• Own production/UAT cutovers, backfills, SLA commitments, risk mitigation, and critical or weekend escalations.
