Summary
Leads complex, multi-workstream data programmes (data warehouse migrations and/or AI) end to end for a data/technology consultancy — owning governance, RAID and reporting, commercial control like Change Orders, and C-level client stakeholder relationships. Requires 7+ years of programme delivery, agile at scale, and tools such as Jira.
- End-to-end delivery of multi-workstream programmes spanning multiple projects, vendors, and delivery teams
- Accountability for programme scope and benefits realisation across the full programme lifecycle
- Escalation point for serious programme issues and programme recovery
- Design and enforcement of programme-level governance models, RAID processes, and reporting standards
- Facilitation of steering committees with updates and recommendations to C-level stakeholders
- Building and holding relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Business analysis at programme level including gathering and structuring high-level business requirements and strategic objectives
- Identification and management of cross-workstream dependencies
- Challenging technical and commercial assumptions across workstreams
- Commercial governance for the programme including Change Control, Change Orders, and milestone sign-off
- Representation of Infinite Lambda in demanding client conversations
- 7+ years of experience leading complex, multi-workstream programmes with focus on data warehouse migration and/or AI
- Consulting background within data or technology consultancies
- Track record of accountability for troubled or at-risk programmes and successful recovery
- Business analysis experience at strategic level translating executive-level business objectives
- Extensive experience with agile methodologies at programme scale
- Strong conceptual understanding of software engineering and data delivery principles
- Significant experience in business change and IT delivery at enterprise or large-account level
- Gravitas, credibility, and maturity to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
- Commercial experience negotiating Change Orders and managing fixed-cost and T&M commercial models
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programmes or large single programme with several parallel workstreams
- Proficiency in programme and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello)
- Strong business analysis toolkit at programme scale including requirements gathering, benefits mapping, process mapping, and senior stakeholder workshops
- Familiarity with a range of delivery methodologies and judgement to select and adapt per workstream
- Comfortable holding ultimate accountability including for issues not personally caused
- Calm and decisive under pressure
- Collaborative and positive approach to people with willingness to have difficult conversations early
- Willingness to take new directions and adapt to changing priorities at short notice
- Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management skills
- Ability to structure complex, ambiguous programmes into clear workstream breakdown, dependency map, and governance model

- Working knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Omni, Sigma, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Formal programme management certification (e.g. MSP, PMI-PgMP) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven experience leading data warehousing and analytics programmes, preferably migrations, at enterprise scale
