Delivery Lead-Full stack developer

<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Job purpose </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">We are seeking a hands-on, Full Stack Developer to help build and enhance analytical, data-driven web </span>applications and supporting infrastructure for a quantitative trading firm. This role spans both front-end and back-end development, working across production React applications, microservices, APIs, databases, and automated workflows. The ideal candidate has strong experience developing high-performance, data-intensive applications where scalability, responsiveness, reliability, and clean client/server architecture are critical. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Key responsibilities </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Build and upgrade microservices and workflows written in Python/Pandas </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that serve time-series and quantitative data </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Integrate with database storage across MongoDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Building and maintaining UI components in React + TypeScript </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Developing data visualization and analytical interfaces (tables, charts, dashboards) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Implementing responsive layouts and design systems using Tailwind CSS </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Working within applications that mix server-side and client-side logic </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Making informed decisions about what belongs on the client vs. the server </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Integrating UI with backend APIs that serve time-series and quantitative data </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Optimizing rendering performance for large datasets and frequent updates </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Debugging issues related to async data, re-renders, and UI state consistency </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Key competencies </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Required Skills </b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• 7+ years of experience in software development </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Strong experience with Python (3.9+) and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Proficiency building microservices using FastAPI or similar async frameworks </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Solid understanding of enterprise-level data architecture and design patterns </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience with both relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Good understanding of SQL Server stored procedures with the ability to alter or create them as needed </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Working knowledge of containers (Docker) and cloud platforms (GCP/Kubernetes) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience with version control (Git) including branching strategies, code reviews, and PR workflows </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Knowledge of code performance optimization and memory efficiency </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Strong experience with React and TypeScript </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Clear understanding of client vs. server responsibilities in modern React apps </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience building data-heavy UIs (tables, charts, filters, dashboards) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Solid command of Tailwind CSS and responsive design patterns </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Comfortable working with asynchronous data flows and state management </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Ability to reason about performance, memorization, and rendering efficiency </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Able to work independently in an existing, complex codebase </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Nice to Have </b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Familiarity with market data from industry vendors such as Bloomberg, Factset, or Refinitiv </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience with task scheduling and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) for high-throughput systems </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, Kustomize) </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar)</span></p>
