Delivery Lead/ Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer / Agile Delivery Program Lead to drive complex, multi-site software delivery initiatives. In this role, you will bridge technical execution with business strategy, steer multi-team Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments, manage cross-vendor dependencies, enforce rigorous compliance/validation standards, and ensure seamless handovers to operational teams.
If you thrive in high-visibility environments, possess strong executive communication skills, and excel at leading cross-functional, distributed teams—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
1. Scaled Agile Delivery & SDLC Governance
Scaled Agile Mastery (SAFe / PI Planning): Hands-on experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning cycles, managing technical and business objectives across multiple teams simultaneously.
Dependency & Cross-Site Management: Ability to map and resolve complex dependencies across distributed teams (multi-site) and third-party vendors.
End-to-End SDLC Oversight: Complete ownership of the software delivery lifecycle—from requirements gathering, development, and testing (Functional, UAT, Regression) to deployment cutover and post-go-live hypercare support.
Risk & Impediment Management: Proactive tracking of blockers, quantitative risk assessments, mitigation planning, and structured escalation pathways.
Governance & Delivery KPIs: Experience establishing operational frameworks (Ways of Working) and tracking key delivery metrics (e.g., Velocity, Lead Time, Defect Density, Milestone Variance).
2. Multi-Site Leadership & Vendor Management
Distributed Team Leadership: Proven ability to align cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones while maintaining consistent processes and high team engagement.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Defining Statements of Work (SoWs), setting quality gates for external partners, and smoothly integrating contractor workflows into internal processes.
Servant Leadership: Empowering Developers, Testers, TechOps, and Product Owners by removing operational friction, securing resources, and overseeing onboarding.
RACI & Alignment: Defining clear Roles & Responsibilities across Business, Product, TechOps, and QA to streamline decision-making and eliminate boundary conflicts.
3. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Executive-Level Reporting: Translating complex delivery status into clear, data-driven executive dashboards and concise reporting for C-level leadership.
Negotiation & Prioritization: Partnering with Business Owners and Tech Product Owners to negotiate trade-offs between scope, timelines, and technical constraints.
Change Management: Communicating project risks, delays, or scope shifts transparently, professionally, and with solution-oriented proposals.
4. Compliance, Quality & Service Transition
Regulated / Validated Environment Experience: Practical knowledge of quality assurance standards and compliance requirements (e.g., GxP, ISO, healthcare regulations) where strict validation and documentation are mandatory prior to production release.
TechOps Integration & Service Transition: Solid understanding of IT operations to ensure effective Handover to Operations (Service Transition) and post-release supportability.
