About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong track record of leading large-scale technology delivery engagements, particularly involving Azure DevOps and DevOps toolchain solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery, ensuring projects are executed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive delivery governance, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work from Central London for up to three days per week, depending on project demands. A greater on-site presence may be required during the discovery phase. The role also requires a willingness to travel to Leeds during discovery, with travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology engagements, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.
- Oversee the implementation and delivery of Azure DevOps and DevOps toolchain solutions.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Establish and maintain effective delivery governance, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication on progress, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and efficient delivery practices.
- Ensure delivery remains aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Support discovery activities, including on-site engagement in Central London and travel to Leeds when required.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager within large-scale technology delivery environments.
- Strong, demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps.
- In-depth understanding of the DevOps toolchain and associated delivery processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology teams and complex delivery engagements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in delivery governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
