Key Responsibilities
Multi-Project Delivery Management
- Own delivery of 4–8 concurrent turnkey engineering software projects across CAD/BIM, Cloud, Data & AI, or Digital Twin domains.
- Define project plans, resourcing, milestones, and delivery roadmaps in collaboration with technical leads and architects.
- Track scope, schedule, budget, and quality (SQBC) across all projects; proactively flag risks and drive mitigation.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC/Agile processes, coding standards, and QA gates across teams.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders on project status, escalations, and roadmap discussions.
- Run governance cadences — status calls, steering committee reviews, QBRs — with clients across geographies (India/US/Middle East time zones).
- Manage scope changes (change requests, SOWs) and contract renewals in coordination with sales/account teams.
Team & Resource Management
- Lead and mentor project leads, tech leads, and cross-functional engineering teams (developers, QA, architects) assigned across projects.
- Plan resource allocation and utilization across projects; work with talent acquisition on hiring/staffing needs.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and capability building for delivery teams.
Process & Governance
- Establish and continuously improve delivery frameworks, PMO processes, and reporting dashboards (RAID logs, burn-down, utilization, margin tracking).
- Ensure project profitability by tracking effort vs. estimate, managing scope creep, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Drive knowledge management and reusable frameworks/accelerators across projects to improve delivery efficiency.
Risk & Escalation Management
- Identify delivery risks early (technical, resourcing, scope, client relationship) and drive resolution.
- Own escalation management, ensuring timely and transparent communication to leadership and clients.
Requirements
- 10–15 years total experience in software/IT services, with at least 4–6 years as a Delivery Manager / Program Manager / Senior Project Manager managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience delivering turnkey/fixed-scope software engineering projects for global (preferably US/Europe) clients.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices — Agile/Scrum, DevOps, QA/testing, cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
- Experience managing engineering/CAD/BIM/CFD/simulation software projects is a strong plus (domain exposure to Autodesk Platform Services, PLM/BIM, or engineering simulation preferred but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L/margins for projects, including resource planning, estimation, and utilization tracking.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills; experience handling escalations and steering committee discussions with senior client stakeholders.
- Strong people leadership — managing and growing teams of 30–100+ engineers across multiple projects.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / SAFe certification preferred.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Benefits
- Opportunity to lead delivery for marquee global engineering brands.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technology — Cloud, AI, Digital Twin, CAD/BIM platforms.
- Flat, collaborative culture with strong learning & development support.
- Competitive compensation and growth path to Head of Delivery / BU Head roles.
