Delivery Manager (Data)

We are seeking a Delivery Manager to drive multi-cloud transformations, optimize costs and champion AI-enabled solutions. Partner with clients and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data platforms on strategy, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end solution delivery and daily team activities for complex data and analytics programs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and senior management on all delivery-related matters
• Establish long-term client partnerships by managing expectations, addressing risks and coordinating proposals
• Guide technical architecture planning and implementation to meet rigorous quality standards
• Formulate comprehensive delivery plans with precise estimations on timeframes, resources and budgets
• Oversee resource allocation, staffing needs and the onboarding of new engineering team members
• Drive DevOps process automation and continuous improvement to boost delivery productivity and reliability
• Mentor fellow delivery managers and contribute to the firm-wide delivery management community

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering, big data, data warehousing and business intelligence
• Strong background in leading cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex project delivery using Agile methodologies
• Comprehensive understanding of big data technology stacks including Python, Spark and Kafka
• Practical exposure to AI-enabled data solutions, classical analytics methods and machine learning
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Track record of successfully gathering business requirements to design effective technology solutions
• Solid knowledge of data visualization tools and data-related security challenges

Nice to have

• Leadership background in on-premises to cloud data migration projects
• Hands-on technical experience in software or system engineering
• Proven ability to support sales activities and participate in bid processes
