Are you a delivery professional who is passionate about delivering real-world user outcomes? Do you want to champion modern delivery practices, helping cross-functional teams to deliver public value faster?
The Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is looking for a passionate, user focused delivery manager to join a team delivering critical grant and contract services for the UK Public sector. The successful applicant will be embedded within product delivery teams and play a critical role in ensuring the teams deliver strong product outcomes that drive value for our users. By leading our product teams to deliver high-value outcomes, you will help drive efficiencies in grant and contract administration; saving time, improving accuracy, and delivering greater value for the nation.
Job Summary
As a Delivery Manager at the GCA, you will lead the day-to-day rhythm of a high-performing, cross-functional digital team. Partnering closely with Product Managers, designers, and engineers, you will establish a culture focused on measurable business and user outcomes. You will remove impediments, optimise flow, and champion modern, lean practices in order to drive product outcomes. We are a team that encourages innovation and experimentation. Therefore, this is an ideal role for an ambitious and aspiring delivery professional who loves getting stuck into the details, advocating for users, unblocking delivery challenges, and experimenting with modern approaches to solve real-world government problems.

Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with delivery partners, suppliers, and multidisciplinary team members.

Experience with AI to improve delivery practices: Familiarity or practical experience using AI tools to improve delivery of product outcomes.
