Oversee end-to-end delivery of industrial IoT and edge-computing solutions for marine and energy clients, leading teams and processes from pre-sales through global deployment.

We work with industry leaders like Boskalis and BP. Our Red Zone Manager uses vision AI to monitor hazardous areas and improve crew safety, while Helin Platform enables customers to build their own AI and machine learning applications and deploy them across their fleet worldwide. We're a team of 60+ professionals from 35+ nationalities in Rijswijk.
As Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Helin's solutions from pre-sales through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. You will lead multidisciplinary operations team, establish scalable delivery processes, and ensure customer success across all engagements.
This role requires a strong leader who can balance strategic thinking with execution excellence while building a delivery organization capable of supporting Helin's continued growth.
- Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from pre-sales and solution design to implementation and deployment.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, including project managers, field engineers, delivery specialists, and partners.
- Establish and drive delivery best practices, standardized methodologies, performance dashboards, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure delivery excellence through effective governance, resource planning, forecasting, portfolio management, and process optimization.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for customer, operational, and delivery challenges, ensuring timely resolution and customer success.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure commercial alignment, contract clarity, and successful execution.
- Build and scale a global delivery organization to support Helin’s international growth.
- Provide executive visibility through reporting, KPI management, performance tracking, and risk oversight.
- Leverage expertise in Industrial IoT, Edge Computing, AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies, and Digital Transformation to deliver complex industrial technology solutions.
- 10+ years of experience in delivery leadership, consulting, program management, or professional services within technology-driven environments.
- Proven success leading complex customer implementations, cross-functional teams, and enterprise delivery portfolios.
- Strong customer-facing presence with exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience building, scaling, and optimizing delivery organizations in fast-growing businesses.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience with contract negotiation, Statements of Work (SOWs), risk management, and customer engagements.
- Ability to drive delivery governance, operational excellence, resource planning, forecasting, and technical program management.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding modern software delivery methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
- Experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT), Edge Computing, AI-driven solutions, and data analytics.
- Understanding of OT environments, cybersecurity governance, industrial automation, SCADA systems, and systems integration.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and industrial software solutions.
- Experience delivering solutions within Maritime, Offshore, Renewable Energy, Industrial Automation, or Critical Infrastructure sectors.
- Agile, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project and program management certifications.
- Experience building and managing international delivery partner ecosystems.
- Predictable and high-quality project delivery across all customer engagements.
- Strong customer satisfaction and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Scalable delivery operations capable of supporting Helin's growth ambitions.
