Delivery & Project Manager (Technology & M&A)
Summary
Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex tech projects and M&A integrations, coordinating timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and on-time go-lives.
- Execution & Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects from inception through go-live and handover.
- Planning & Governance: Establish clear project charters, roadmaps, milestones, resource plans, and risk/issue tracking frameworks.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
- Agile & Waterfall Methods: Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) tailored to project needs.
- Resource & Budget Control: Oversee project budgets, track variance, and manage resource allocation across active work streams.
- Post-Merger Tech Integration: Plan and coordinate technology integration activities following deal closures (e.g., application migration, infrastructure consolidation, identity & access alignment).
- Work-stream Coordination: Collaborate with M&A deal leads and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure IT deliverables align with broader integration milestones.
- Due Diligence Support: Assist in reviewing tech landscapes during pre-deal or early integration phases to identify technical risks and delivery dependencies.
- Day-1 & Day-100 Planning: Coordinate operational readiness tasks to guarantee business continuity across merging entities.
- Proven Delivery Track Record: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead driving complex IT or digital projects.
- M&A Exposure: Hands-on experience or solid working knowledge of M&A lifecycles, specifically tech integrations, migrations, or carve-outs.
- Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent formal project management training.
- Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to manage high-visibility initiatives and communicate effectively with executives, technical architects, and vendors.
- Risk & Issue Management: Strong proactive problem-solving skills with a history of unblocking technical teams and resolving delivery friction.
- Experience working within global, enterprise, or matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with enterprise software roll-outs, cloud migrations, or IT infrastructure consolidations.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of deal structures and business readiness.
- On-Time Delivery: Tech integration projects consistently hit key milestones on schedule and within budget.
