What to Expect

As a Bidbus Delivery Specialist, you own the customer's experience from the moment they commit to a sale through final delivery. You keep sellers informed and on track before their vehicle reaches the dealership, then step in to solve problems once it gets there. You're part of the delivery team, and you'll also work with the upstream Listing and Post-Auction teams to optimize and streamline the delivery process for all parties involved. This role needs someone organized, calm under pressure, and good on the phone: setting the right expectations early and resolving issues quickly are what keep cancellations down.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct pre-delivery calls to confirm documents, photos, and condition report accuracy

  • Clear required documentation (title, ID, loan payoff info, etc.) ahead of delivery

  • Manage delivery scheduling to reduce delays and no-shows

  • Set clear, honest expectations with sellers, including conditions found at inspection that could affect price or terms

  • Handle on-site adjustments and escalations once a vehicle reaches the dealership

  • Work to save deals when a dealer raises a rejection, distinguishing valid rejections from resolvable ones

  • Document adjustments and escalations for tracking and reporting

  • Flag recurring rejection causes to delivery leadership and the Listing team to fix issues at the source

  • Compile reports on cancellations, adjustments, and escalation outcomes

  • Work toward the team's cancellation rate target and minimize lost revenue from failed deliveries

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, including training or process improvements

What You'll Bring

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience; automotive or dealership experience a plus

  • Comfortable with direct conversations and de-escalating tense situations

  • Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and comfortable learning CRM tools

  • Able to multitask between scheduling, documentation, and live escalations

  • Comfortable with Bidbus's auction schedule (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), remote work on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and general schedule flexibility

  • Valid driver's license preferred

  • Automotive industry knowledge a plus, not required
